Guys, if you've slept for five hours in rev.76... Well, you would laugh. But then, during the process of the game it would become even funnier.

Honestly, it looks like we've got a spamming machine right in the Zone It wasn't planned anyway, it just turned out to be so.

Anyway, I've already made a patch for that issue. But I'm only going to release it when everyone has had their bit of fun... Show me your screenshots if you think you've got it, and then I will release the patch.

If you have CTDs - read this

 

When and if you have a CTD, first of all make sure you are running:

Game version 1.0004

Latest version of AMK 1.4 (currently - rev.22)

Latest version of AMK-EN (currently - 2.0.77)

You are running the game only with those add-ons that are included in the installer.

Your problem was not discussed.

You have tried reloading the game.

You have tried running the game from an earlier savegame (that's why you should always keep your savegames, if any get corrupted, you can keep trying to revert to one before, then if it doesn't work, to one before that one etc.)

You have tried starting a new game.

You have tried reinstalling the mod.

You have tried reinstalling the game.

 

If the answer to all above question is yes, then post your log (only lines after 'FATAL ERROR') and give a link to your savegame before the crash telling which mods from the installer you are using.

Only then we will be able to look into your issue and (if possible) fix it as quickly as possible.

ok and the CTD from saving the game? have the ru-team managed to do something with it?

You mean when savegames get corrupted? It's already been fixed (although occurs rarely), if you've started a new game that shouldn't be an issue.

I temporarily fixed it by copying 'l-85-amk-t', renaming it to 'l-85-amk-n' and pasting it in the 'wpn' folder. No more crash after that.

I had that crash a while ago (before AMK-EN even existed ), also in the Bar, also fixed it by renaming one of the files and it resulted in unfixable crash in the Army Warehouses.

It was fixed by complete (delete your gamedata) reinstall of the mod. I suggest you should do that.

1. the texture 'wpn\l-85-amk-n' is still missing (see my fatal error post above)

What resolution do you play on?

Hey, I was trying to run this mod in xp x64 and it crashes to desktop every time a conversation terminates. I can circumvent this by hitting trade and getting out of the conversation, but it's really really annoying. Specs are core 2 duo e6420 @ 3.0GHz, 8800GTS 320MB @ 600MHz, 2GB DDR2 @850MHz

Question: What version of the game do you have?

If the answe,r is anything but 1.0004, you need to reinstall the game and apply 1.0004 patch.

If the answer is 1.0004, I suggest you throw XP x64 away anyway because it's a pile of... rubbish.

 

I don't think STALKER supports Mobile versions of GPUs...

If that was so, AMK-EN would have never come about. I use my laptop 90% of the time when I work, as my desktop is back in Moscow, and I only go there on holidays.
